Like much of the country we are actually getting snow right now, not like the blizzard that has hit some parts of the country, but it is more snow than we are used to. I have been in Oklahoma almost ten years, and this is definitely the best winter I can remember since moving up here. I personally love the snow, it makes me happy!

I was reading one of the blogs that I follow, and the person was talking about things being different when you are an amputee, particularly having to walk in things like snow with a prosthetic leg. Gravity and prosthetics are already natural enemies and then you throw in something like snow, or mud, that adds extra weight to a prosthetic things get even more interesting. Even though we only got about 6 inches or so of snow today, I still had to be a little more careful when I was making my way through the yard, because loosing a leg in the snow is never fun, especially in the middle of the day when the neighbors are probably at their doors watching it snow.
