Remind me again

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

I have mentioned people stating the obvious before on here. I was watching a video on youtube yesterday that reminded me how much people like to state the obvious. I am not going to paste the link here because the gentlman in the video was very uspet at people calling him fat in the comments of his videos and used the f-bomb like 70 times in a 3 or 4 minute video. The guy calls himself fat in his videos, and admits that he is over weight yet people still feel the need to call him fat in the comments of his videos. I have never really understood people that feel like they need to state the obvious all the time. I know a lot of people like that though. I thought this picture on failblog.org was pretty funny. I am sure that is not what they meant when they put up that sign, but it does kind of point out the obvious huh?fail owned pwned pictures

You can’t miss me until I am gone.

You know how they say time flies when you are having fun. Well that also goes for when you are working all the time. The last few weeks have been kind of hectic, between work and moving, and I have neglected this site a little. I have plenty to talk about, I just need a little more time, and a motivation to get back into (somewhat of) a routine of posting regularly.

Thanks for sticking around during my temporary lapses in posting.

No you can’t whittle my leg!

I can’t really speak for myself, but I would think that any red-blooded american boy with a prosthetic leg has at one time or another dreamed about having an AR-15 as a prosthetic. I know I have. Granted I would never look as good in one as Rose McGowan in Planet Terror but a boy can dream right? I thought this list of 13  prosthetics was pretty interesting. Of course if weapons as prosthetics were a choice, I would always take a chainsaw hand like Bruce Campbell in the Evil Dead series because, well its a chanisaw hand and who wouldnt want that?

About My blog
This is my way of sharing my day to day life with you. Check out the About Me section to read a little more about myself and my differences.

I started this blog as a way to organize my thoughts and get some ideas out of my head and onto paper so to speak. The goal is to eventually write a book about my life. Writing about things I go through on a daily basis as well as things I experienced growing up seemed like a logical starting point, and what better way to do that than starting a blog? The blog will mainly be a collection of stories from my life, as well as things that I go through on a daily basis. In typical blog style, the newest post will be on top so if you want to read in order you will have to start at the beginning. If you have any comments questions and/or feedback about the site, you can use my contact page to send me a message, I would love to hear from you.
